Freelance Videographer / Photographer – Flex Creative (On‑Site, Late Nights)

We’re Flex Creative, a video-first creative studio working with brands and venues across Australia. We move fast, shoot late, and deliver assets next day. If you live for being on-site, capturing the energy, and turning it into scroll-stopping content, keep reading.

The Role

We’re looking for a freelance shooter/editor who can jump on projects as needed and own the content from lens to export.

You will:

• Travel on-site to shoots (locations vary by project)
• Shoot video, photo, or both depending on the brief
• Work late-night shoots (often 10 pm – 2 am) when needed
• Turn around next‑day assets for clients
• Work closely with our creative team on briefs and edits

What You Need

• You own your own gear (camera, lenses, audio, lights as relevant)
• Reliable transport to get to and from shoots
• Strong skills as:
  • Shooter only, or
  • Editor only, or
  • Both shooter & editor (preferred)
• Comfortable with tight deadlines and late nights
• Professional, on-time, and easy to work with on set

Nice to Have

• Experience with brand, event, or nightlife content
• Comfortable shooting handheld, gimbal, or run‑and‑gun style
• Basic understanding of social formats (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc.)

Pay

This is freelance / contract work.
